Llabenoylno
Llabenoylno is a fictional town in South Wales. It has a population of 3i + 4, and its economy has been almost entirely based on fleecing tourists since the literal collapse of the mining industry in 1864, when three of Llabenoylno’s largest shafts collapsed due to the miners being too lazy to insert pit props.Tourism
See the World’s Smallest Waterfall
The Dallyddyn falls are tiny, measuring a bare micrometer in height. They are hardly perceptible to the naked eye, and the only way to locate them and be sure that you’ve not simply seen an undulation in the stream bed is to buy a 1:1 map and GPS system or hire a tour guide.
Taste locally-baked 999 cakes
Llabenoylno’s unique position in the Welsh mountains puts it close to some of the richest natural deposits of slate and copper in the whole of Wales, so it was only natural that these two key resources should find their way into its cuisine. 999 cakes are the only cakes in the World made with slate and copper! Slate and chalcopyrite (copper ore) are ground in local mills and sprinkled into the mixture before baking. This lends the cakes their unique crunchy texture, and has also resulted in an unusual concentration of dentists which has helped Llabenoylno survive after the collapse of the local mining industry.
Ride the mountain railway
Why go to the trouble of a day’s hard hiking to see what are, ultimately, not very spectacular views? Save time and spend money taking the mountain railway! Any similarities between the railway’s speed of descent and that of freefall are purely coincidental.
