Maths

Mathematics, often abbreviated to maths, is the field of human endeavour which seeks to make the most complicated and boring mess with the minimum number of axioms.

It is not a science because you can’t do experiments, and it is not really an art either, leaving it in a special category of its own unique in its tedium.
