Newport Girls’ High School

Newport Girls’ High School, or NGHS, is a school in Newport for girls, and only for girls. It educates girls, and only girls, from the age of eleven until the VIth form.

Its strongly girly atmosphere becomes too intense for most at the Year 11 stage or, more usually, long before, and as a result of this, many of its students opt for Adams’ Grammar School’s mixed-sex VIth form and decide that then is the time to become alumni.

Its staff is almost entirely female, with occasional male teachers usually being scared into becoming the professional equivalent of alumni faster even than the girls.

A recent survey found the ambient bitchiness density in the school to be 37Bm-1.
