Pseudoscience
Pseudoscience is a branch of science which deals with phenomena which the person involved cannot be bothered to evaluate properly, and thus justifies with much waving of hands and allusion to ‘common sense’. This ranges from the babblings of the layman all the way to string theory.Its fundamental precept is that of the non-experimental method, with attempts to make theories and test them poo-pooed by the pseudoscientific community as “apparatus-laden codswallop”. Thus, they refuse even to experiment with experimentation.
Disciplines
Pseudoscience is divided into a number of disciplines on a vague and arbitrary basis which most practitioners are, by definition, too apathetic to rigorously explain. They include:
